Gee Watts

Gee Watts is a Kansas City father, artist, and community leader whose name has been buzzing since 2011, when Kendrick Lamar co-signed him with a tweet: “Follow this young boi, you’ll hear his name one day.” Two years later, Gee made that prophecy a reality, dropping “Watts R.I.O.T.” featuring Kendrick on the second verse. His sharp lyricism, raw storytelling, and Midwest grit caught the attention of Kansas City’s rap king, Tech N9ne, who featured him on Special Effects in 2015. Now, in 2025, Gee Watts is determined to push the culture forward while honoring hip-hop’s roots and essence. Whether onstage or in the community, his voice carries weight, and his movements just as heavy. Stay tuned—history is still being written.
