Mark Barlow

Hi! I’m Mark Barlow. I’m a husband, father, brother, and son. I’m a morning person, romantic goofball, and Fortnite enthusiast who wears Crocs with socks almost EVERY DAY. I’m also an independent artist writing soulful, faith-filled songs that point to the true character of God and what it means to live daily in connection with the Father, Spirit, and Son. For the past ten years, I’ve been working to blend gospel, soul, and indie sounds with honest lyrics that push back against cultural ideas of God and lean into biblical truth. My journey in releasing music began in 2015 with Isla Vista Worship where I first wrote and recorded So in Love. In 2019, I released Soul Hymns - which was a passion project recorded in my bedroom & a storage container studio. Without paying a cent for marketing, it started spreading around the world and today surpassed 150 million streams and continues to remind me that God can multiply even the smallest offering to reach far beyond what we could plan. Since then, I’ve released Hymns & Soul along with many more songs shaped by prayer and everyday life with God. I’m currently finishing my third full-length album, a worship record called LOOKING FOR WATER, which is about figuring out my relationship with God in a new season of life.
