Shofu tha BeatDown

A professional Krump Dancer who battled with and against the best in the world, Shofu Tha BeatDown is no stranger to high-level competition. In a battledance scene where 40% of dancers make their own original music, BeatDown uses Krump sounds in his music production - especially after winning a beat-making competition held by Tha J-Squad (the creators of Krump music). BeatDown’s mother is gifted in visual arts, his father is gifted in music composition, and his two younger brothers are also masters of chaining their inherited abilities together with uniquity. After moving to Los Angeles at the age of 2, BeatDown found multiple ways to combine his outlets. After releasing a self-produced album of 23 songs #GITTEM Tha Mixtape in 2017 as a birthday present to himself (after his 300th beat), then #GITTEM2 - HeatMan a year later and #GITT3M in 2020, a 2-year hiatus during the Covid Era birthed the songs on his 2023 album #Never4gittem and re-invigorated his fanbase. Being multiskilled is beatdown’s bread and butter, drawing all his cover art and editing all his music videos, bringing you into his world when consuming his music. Currently working on #ARMAGITT5M (releasing January 2027) helping @HypeMan Hunnitz get SPLASHGAWD released late 2026, and his animated battle series Tha Brutal Champion. In the meantime he runs twitch.tv/AirComboGeneral for his SteamDeck air combo escapades, as well as dropping singles every two weeks starting MAY 22nd with SONIC BATTLEBARS.
