Common Orchids

Common Orchids, started as an idea of bringing artists together, making music and art....first album 'Truth and Lies' mainly featuring Matthew Lowers recording all the instruments and vocals wasn't the original plan but sometimes this is how life turn out! Common Orchids kept ploughing on with some one man solo gigs, a handful of single releases and two EPs The White and Red Watch followed, this time old friend and writer Andy Prangnell was involved in the writing side. Now in 2025 and more tracks in the making and coming soon, Matthew and Andy working together again with more artists joining the Common Orchids. Inspiration from Life, the beauty of life and the otherside, over 20 years as a Firefighter Matthew has witnessed and been a part of many experiences from joy, to the deepest and darkest harsh realities of what can be thrown at you when you least expect. Stay strong, stay safe, and let love be the one thing that gets us through, good health and peace to all. Music recorded at Apollo studios in Hertfordshire with Martin Lumsden playing a huge part, mixing, mastering, and everything else in getting the music from my head and out into the world! To all involved thanks!
