Alpha Sect

Based in Strasbourg, France, Alpha Sect is the electronic project of Greek producer George McCall, blending EBM, industrial techno, post-punk and dark electro into a raw, hypnotic sound driven by punk energy and cinematic atmosphere. Originally active as a guitarist in post-rock and post-metal projects, he later transitioned into synthesizers and machine-driven rhythms while preserving an emotional and textured approach to composition. Influenced by underground electronic culture, 90s industrial music and darkwave aesthetics, Alpha Sect explores themes of social tension, dystopian realities and personal liberation through immersive soundscapes and powerful rhythms. Balancing aggressive club energy with melancholic atmospheres, the project moves fluidly between body music, experimental electronics and dark alternative sounds. Through releases, collaborations and live performances across Europe, Alpha Sect continues to evolve while staying deeply connected to DIY culture and underground electronic expression.
