Ben Rolo

I’m Ben Rolo, an atmospheric Dance music producer from the South Coast of the UK. My journey properly kicked off when I won the In:Most & Soulvent ‘Pieces’ remix competition, which landed my track on Liquicity’s YouTube channel. That opened doors, leading to releases on ProgRam, Galacy, YANA, Yosh, Bay6, Soul Deep, and more, plus a feature on BBC Radio 1’s Drum & Bass show. Then, I somehow got a track on UKF’s YouTube —which was crazy. Easily the biggest moment of my career so far, and even better, it was with Beats In Mind: Headbass, a label that supports mental health charities. After that, I had a bit of a well… what now? moment. Lately, I’ve taken a step back to just write music I love for me—lots of liquid and atmospheric sounds, but really just following whatever feels right. Been a bit quiet, but there’s plenty happening behind the scenes I hope you’ll all enjoy. If you’re here, thanks for listening. Hope you like what’s coming next.
