Wallfella

Few artists capture the realities of working-class life and modern struggles as powerfully as Wallfella, a Northside Dublin rapper unafraid to speak hard truths. Raised in O’Devaney Gardens, he has become a defining voice in Irish Hip-Hop and R&B, blending raw storytelling with evolving sounds. Praised by Wordplay Magazine for his “candid and non-apologetic approach to lyricism,” his music explores mental health, toxic relationships, and systemic injustice with honesty and depth. Wallfella’s 2020 album The North’s Face established him as a compelling storyteller, with tracks like “Devaney Flow” becoming Northside Dublin anthems. In December 2025, he released The Coop is Full to a strong reception, continuing his fusion of Hip-Hop, R&B, and funk. Singles like “No Chords” and “Smooth Wirreh” earned praise for their distinct flow and layered songwriting. Collaboration remains central to his work, from tracks like “MULA” with Flynn Johnson and Hikii, to “Tree Sap (Remix’d)” with Curtisy.
