Biography & Metadata
Welcome to The City of Birches, an alter ego of Andreas Gidlund. Andreas started his musical journey as a child growing up in the north of Sweden playing all sorts of instruments from an early age. Maybe it was the cold and long winters of the north that developed a love for the melancholic and sentimental expressions in music and jazzballads in particularly. Here, you'll find simple and elegantly restrained compositions...yet with plenty of passion and subtle nuance. Welcome again and thanks for listening!
