Jonny & the Jazzuits

Jonny & the Jazzuits bring together jazz, gospel and a deep-rooted Christian faith — music with soul, swing and a message. The band is currently working on Gotta Serve Somebody – A Jazz Take on @Bob Dylan’s Gospel Years, a new album exploring the remarkable songs from Dylan’s faith-filled period of 1979–81. Featuring fresh jazz arrangements, special guests and @Gospel Boulevard choir, the album is due for release in Spring 2027. Led by British saxophonist, clarinettist and singer @Jonny Boston, Jonny & the Jazzuits have been sharing their distinctive “heavenly jazz gospel” since 2011, performing across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Switzerland at festivals, clubs, churches and special events. Their debut album, Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Songs (2015), was nominated for a Zilveren Duif Award, while Temporary Accommodation (2017) was named CD of the Week by Groot Nieuws Radio. Further releases include Good Medicine and their fourth album, Songs of Deliverance (2023), featuring international guest artists and accompanied by music videos filmed on location in Israel, including Jerusalem and the Galilee, during the band’s visit in June 2023. “Lovely atmospheric warm jazz, together with the beautiful voice of Jonny Boston!” — Nederlands Dagblad “Extremely musical guys!” — Groot Nieuws Radio Gotta Serve Somebody continues the journey — bringing the faith, fire and timeless songs of @Bob Dylan’s gospel years into the world of jazz.
