Biography & Metadata
Solposto is the alter ego of João Santos, a portuguese drummer. João started playing drums with 7 years old and this journey became more serious with 15 when he started studying drums at Porto's Jazz School with Koen Van Esch and then with Chico Cardoso as private lessons. He used to play in clubs and pubs with a few bands and he is also Senhor Doutor ‘s drummer. The goal is to enjoy and challenge himself into a new creativity mindset, always seeking for organic instrumental beat music with warm vintage production, atmospheric textures and characterful live drums.
