Fleur Lion

Fleur Lion (real name Fleur de Leeuwe) is a Dutch singer-songwriter from the Netherlands. With sweet, soaring vocals and a powerful pop sensibility, Fleur Lion’s sound is uplifting and emotionally nuanced, influenced by her desire to transform her personal experiences of pain and depression into something beautiful and inspirational for her listeners. Born and raised in Amsterdam, Fleur Lion first began singing as a child and carried her love of music into her teens, taking up music studies at college. When her career took her in a different direction, the singer-songwriter found herself battling severe depression, unsure of where she belonged and what she wanted from life. She decided to dive into the studio and start writing songs to get through it — and she hasn’t looked back.
