1da banton’s music resists categorisation. He blends reggae, dancehall, afrobeats with the traditional sounds of his home state in Nigeria - Rivers. He has loved music all his life but started making and sharing it professionally in 2015. The Port Harcourt native broke into the scene with ‘No Wahala,’ a song that has amassed over 200 million streams globally and continues to top charts such as the France and UK afrobeats billboard chart and Nigeria radio chart.
