Trist B is a 28-year-old dark trap artist from Virginia, crafting music from the darker corners of memory, history, and the human psyche. His sound is rooted in shadowed storytelling, raw emotion, and an unfiltered exploration of what lies beneath the surface. Writing has been a constant throughout Tristan’s life, beginning in middle school and evolving into an outlet for his fascination with the strange and forgotten — witch trials, haunted places, folklore, and occult traditions woven throughout history. Those influences would become the atmosphere surrounding his art. After discovering the underground scene, Tristan found a space where pain, honesty, darkness, and self-reflection could exist without being sanitized. His writing evolved into music, giving birth to Trist B — an identity built around confronting what others leave buried. From that foundation came DEVIL WITHIN CULT, an underground collective for artists, producers, and visionaries who embrace their darker selves and transform them through creation. Part collective and part modern-day coven, DWC is built around confronting inner demons and finding clarity through creation. Its DWC RADAR playlist serves as a signal for emerging voices within the underground. In 2026, Trist B formalized the vision as DEVIL WITHIN CULT RECORDS, LLC., turning a sacred space into an independent underground record label.
