Biography & Metadata

Hailing from the raw rebellious roots of Denver's punk scene as drummer for local punk band "Society Treatment Plan" Dave (Dangerman) carved a bold path through the alternative underground music scene. Early on opening for the legendary Violent Femmes, STP helped set the stage for an era of experimentation and non-conformity.  Society Treatment plan then migrated to Los Angeles where they helped shape the burgeoning underground industrial music scene as founding members of the influential band FACTORY.   Sharing stages with iconic bands such as Skinny Puppy, Drowning Pool, Jane's Addiction and other alternative pioneer artists, FACTORY became a driving force in LA's alternative soundscape, merging aggression with innovation. They became known for their unpredictable and improvisational shows. After the breakup of FACTORY - "Worm Voltage" was created, an experimental project with the former lead singer and bass player Don Diego from the DC turned LA band punk/ goth rock band Death Ride 69 Today Social Abyss is a solo project that blends decades of musical rebellion into a forward-thinking sound. Drawing from the experimental fringes of underground dark wave, industrial, cyberpunk, techno and goth dance music. With pulsating beats, shadowy atmospheres, and electronic soundscapes that merge the past with the future, Social Abyss pushes the boundaries of alternative music
