Biography & Metadata

Dominic Wynn Woods, known professionally as Sage the Gemini, is a multi-talented rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer hailing from Fairfield, California. He first rose to prominence in 2013 with his viral singles “Gas Pedal” (featuring Iamsu!) and “Red Nose,” both of which climbed the Billboard Hot 100 and earned RIAA certifications. His debut album, Remember Me (2014), released via Republic Records, solidified his place in the West Coast hip hop scene. A founding member of the Bay Area collective HBK Gang, Sage is known for his energetic sound, catchy hooks, and polished production. In addition to his solo success, he earned further acclaim with his feature on Flo Rida’s hit single “G.D.F.R.” in 2014, which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went quadruple Platinum. Sage began recording music at the age of 11 and released his first viral track, “You Should Know,” in 2008 on MySpace. Drawing inspiration from his zodiac sign and eye color, he adopted the name “Sage the Gemini.” His dedication to crafting high-energy anthems continued with the release of his 2017 mixtape Morse Code, featuring the Gold-certified single “Now and Later,” which topped urban charts in Australia and the UK. With a career marked by chart-topping singles and a signature blend of rhythm and melody, Sage the Gemini continues to influence the landscape of contemporary hip hop.
