He co-wrote "Slide Back”, released by Casual Jam Records / MrRevillz, with Jake Cooper that has over 400,000 streams. Recent releases have garnered support from The Chainsmokers and the Spotify-curated “Hot New Dance” and "House Chillout" official playlists. In October of 2016, Joey wrote and recorded a Chicago Cubs themed parody to “We Don’t Talk Anymore” by Charlie Puth & Selena Gomez called "We Don't Suck Anymore", and the song went viral with over 3 million streams.
