Zara Williams

Zara Williams is an Afro-Lusophone artist born in Congo, daughter of an Angolan father and a Congolese mother and raised between Congo and Angola. Her musical identity is shaped by this dual African heritage, blending Congolese roots, Angolan influence and a contemporary urban sound. Moving between Afro-Pop, Kizomba, Zouk, Kuduro and African R&B, Zara creates a feminine, sensual and dance-driven sound marked by melody, rhythm, and presence. Her music connects naturally with African, Lusophone, Francophone and diaspora audiences across Europe. In this new chapter, Zara Williams presents herself as a more mature and focused artist, ready to affirm her voice within the new wave of contemporary African music.
