Biography & Metadata

When reality hurts, hope carries us through... That’s what Hope Kills Reality is about. It was created from the belief that music can give a voice to the things we often struggle to say out loud, like pain, loss, resilience, survival, and the quiet hope that keeps us moving. Hope Kills Reality is Daniyal Hamid and Azeem Hamid. We started this because, in our darkest times, writing became a way to turn pain into something real. Our songs reflect that struggle and the belief that somehow we’ll make it through. We want our songs to remind you that you are not breaking alone. Not by pretending everything is okay, but by giving a voice to everything that isn’t, the things we often can’t say. The struggle is real. But so is the hope. A note on our creative process: We want the music to speak for itself, but we know some people care about how it’s made. We use AI-generated elements as part of the process. We treat those as raw material and shape everything ourselves, from writing to the final sound. We don’t use AI to imitate artists or mislead listeners. It’s just one of the tools we use to make the music.
