Fire Cult

The Swiss-Spanish power trio present their first LP: The Very Edge of the Sea (Urgence Disk, Genève ; Lucinda Records, Madrid ; We Die Alive Records, Genève): ten ravaging tracks combining earworm melodies with high adrenaline energy, somewhere between Carole King and Dinosaur Jr. ! The album, recorded, mixed and mastered by Kevin Galland (Coilguns, Emilie Zoé) at Studio Mecanique in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, and has been released in January 2024 on We Die Alive Records (Geneva), Urgence Disk (Geneva), Lucinda Records (Madrid), as well as Steady Riot Records (Toronto). Formed in 2020 in Switzerland, Fire Cult is now an established band. After the release of their first EP We Die Alive (2021), super positive international reviews, two videoclips by French filmmaker David Basso, and a successful European tour in Spain, France and Switzerland, the band has pursued new horizons with their first tour across the Atlantic with 8 shows in 10 days in Canada, followed by concerts in Europe over the summer and fall 2023, and now the release of their new LP: The Very Edge of the Sea. 3 cult members: Onneca Guelbenzu (Las Furias, ex-Virüs, ex-Las Perras Del Infierno ) , Jérémie Magnin (Hugs and Stitches, No Bullshit Baby! ) and Thibault Besuchet (Etienne Machine, No Bullshit Baby!). A powerful and colourful band in a dream indie punk style, shaped on stage, explosive, danceable and festive.
