Biography & Metadata

MP14 is a 27 year old artist from Jersey. With his most recent tracks, “Stop”, “Quarantine”, “Not Like You”, he’s taking the chance to be an independent artist. He started writing at 13, dropped his first remix to the “Ten Toes Challenge” in 2017, dropped his first music “Goodbye” in 2019. At 21, he invested in his own studio equipment, learned how to engineer, and is networking with unsigned artists like B.More, JGM, Pumathagxd, Lil Timar, and unsigned producers like Nesto, X. Worth, Babylon. MP14 tried to write his first song at age 12. After giving up, he gave himself another chance after going home from school one day, and successfully wrote his first song. His goal is to tell his story, remind others to pursue their dreams, and to never give up. MP14 released his first EP “Note To Self” on Dec. 31, 2020. The mixtape has phone call skits, features from B.More and JGM, beats produced by Nesto, Babylon, Matty Beats, Brad Smith, SOGIMURA, Call Me G, and Chakra. MP14 displays diverse styles between deep storytelling, energetic lyricism, trap rap mixed with complex lyricism. The concept is based on a phone call with a friend that persuades the artist himself to play him every song over the phone before the release date. The phone call ends with MP14 hanging up, and drops the EP right after. While the artist balances pursuing his passion, going to college, and keeping a job, he continues to set goals for his future and is determined to never give up.
