J Rick Flores

J Rick Flores builds his sound where nylon-string intimacy meets Latin-rock fire—blending expressive acoustic textures with melodic, groove-driven electric guitar. Rooted in classical training and Latin influences, his music moves between intimate and cinematic, combining phrasing, tone, and rhythm into a distinct guitar-led voice. Recent releases include: “Turn Around For Me" showcases his groove-driven approach, featuring dynamic interplay with bassist Matt Bissonette, drummer Gregg Bissonette, and keyboardist Mark Nilan Sr. "Just An Illusion" is a songwriting collaboration with his son, Ricardo A. Flores, and Matt Bissonette, and features great performances from Ricardo on solo guitar and Matt on vocals. The full EP, "Bringin’ It Home, " adds vocal-driven tracks alongside his signature instrumental style. His next release, "Hypnotizin' Me", hits a summer vibe while further expanding his sound with vocals and a power trio-based groove with guitar still at the center.
