Big Brody Ode

Big Brody Ode, formerly known as Ode Broham and Capital Ode, is a Canadian-American rap artist born in Scarborough, Toronto to West-Indian parents. Raised in a household filled with Dancehall and House music thanks to his DJ father, Ode’s early connection to rhythm, records, and storytelling shaped his artistic foundation. After moving to the United States at ten years old, living across South Florida, Alabama, New Jersey, and New York, Ode absorbed a wide range of musical and cultural influences that continue to inspire his work. Under the name Capital Ode, he released multiple albums, mixtapes, EP's and singles, including the sound-defining Dollar Menu (2017) and the critically acclaimed DONT COME HOME DEAD (2019), both produced alongside longtime collaborator Drum Fu. In 2021, Ode adopted the name Ode Broham and released the EP "i need a vacation" (2023) and the deluxe "i need an EXTENDED vacation" (2024). Now, after relocating back to Toronto for the first time since his childhood, Ode is reintroducing himself once again as Big Brody Ode, a name that embodies the cool and confidence his music has always carried and reflects a return to his roots.
