Biography & Metadata
Arsha Kaviani is one of the most uniquely versatile pianists around. Born in the Middle East, Arsha grew up immersed in diverse musical genres, from Bach to Nirvana. This eclectic background shaped his imaginative and independent artistry. Coming to the UK at the age of 15 and completing his classical training at Chetham's, Royal Northern College of Music, & the Royal College of Music whilst mentored by luminaries such as Sir Stephen Hough, Daniel Barenboim, Lang Lang, and Peter Donohoe, he received numerous accolades as BBC Music & ClassicFM's Rising Star, and one of International Piano's 30 Under 30 Best Pianists in The World. Arsha's career features acclaimed performances with orchestras like the Tonhalle Zurich and The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and solo recitals in venues from London's Royal Albert Hall to recital halls in Moscow & Tokyo. His innovative approach challenges classical conventions, incorporating original compositions and audience-prompted improvisations into his performances. Committed to making classical music accessible, Arsha is praised for his engaging and charismatic presentation. He frequently includes his own compositions in his programs and is sought after as a composer through his production company, Maison Musique Kaviani. In Arsha’s musical world, classical repertoire intertwines with pop, jazz & Persian music, creating performances and compositions of exceptional wit and originality; one language spoken in different accents.
