Your new bio Kaan (Brandon Perry) is an American rapper, songwriter and creative force whose work bridges raw lyricism with major-label songwriting and production. Born and raised in Howard County, Maryland, he first earned attention with his rapid, breathless flows and introspective writing, blending cerebral wordplay with unfiltered emotion.   Kaan’s career took a major leap when Grammy-winning producer Dem Jointz brought him into sessions at Dr Dre’s Record One studio, where he began writing, recording and collaborating with elite figures in hip-hop and beyond.   Through that partnership he has contributed to work involving legends such as Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg and Xzibit, and appears with Dre and Snoop on tracks from the Dr Dre-produced Missionary project.   He has also linked up with respected MC Royce da 5’9”, appearing on projects alongside him.   Kaan’s discography spans a prolific output of full-length albums, EPs and mixtapes, showcasing his versatility from rapid-fire bars to more contemplative, thought-driven tracks.   Beyond his solo releases, he is sought after for songwriting and vocal contributions, with his writing range extending into international music spheres through collaborators connected to global producers such as Dem Jointz, who also works in K-pop and mainstream pop.   Today he continues to build his profile both as an independent artist and a behind-the-scenes writer, crafting work for a new generation of hip-hop.
