Azizzi Romeo

Azizzi Romeo is a Jamaican reggae artist, producer, and keyboardist carrying a powerful musical lineage while forging his own path. Born Ronaldo Zidane Azizzi Smith on May 20, 1999, in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in rural Linstead, St. Catherine, he is the son of legendary reggae icon Max Romeo. Immersed in music from childhood, Azizzi recorded his first song at age eight and later toured internationally alongside his father as part of the duo Rominal, contributing to the album Father & Sons (2014). Stepping into his solo career under the name Azizzi Romeo, he made an early impact with the roots anthem Grow My Dread (2015), later featured in the film Sprinter, followed by Age of Truth (2017), which showcased his growing lyrical depth. Blending classic roots reggae with a modern, introspective edge, Azizzi Romeo honors his heritage while pushing the legacy forward on his own terms.
