Biography & Metadata

“One of the sharpest and smartest new breed producers to really make a noise in the underground side of drum & bass” - Juno Download Hailing from the vibrant city of Bristol, Teej has been a rising force in the underground electronic music scene for a number of years. Renowned for his sharp production skills and forward-thinking sound, Teej has carved out a reputation for delivering dark and groove-heavy tracks that have become staples in the sets of some of the genre’s biggest tastemakers. Since his official debut release in 2017, he has gone from strength to strength. His music has found a home on some of the world's most respected labels, including Critical, The North Quarter, C.I.A., Flexout Audio, 31 Recordings, Soul In Motion, Sofa Sound Bristol, Trust Audio, and many others. Venturing into Garage and UK Dubstep, his versatility has been on display in full capacity in recent years, with his debut UKG EP 'Arasaka' charting in the top 5 on Beatport. In December 2024, he launched his own solo imprint, NYX Recordings, with the goal to further explore the more minimal, dark, and experimental corners of electronic music that he thrives in, whilst also giving more back to the artists and the more underground and overlooked parts of the scene.
