Maxim Mironov

Hi! My name is Maxim Mironov. I am an opera tenor and here is my story! It all started back in summer 1998 when I saw a concert of Three Tenors broadcasted from Paris on the night before the World Championship. I was stricken by the beauty of this event, by the rich voices of Pavarotti, Carreras, and Domingo, by the effect on the public they had. I decided that one day I'll become a tenor too. I went to study to the Gnessin's Musical college in Moscow in the class of Prof. Dmitry Vdovin. At the age of 22, I've made my debut on the stage of Helikon Opera Theatre in Moscow. In 2004 in the Theatre des Champs-Elysees I've made my European debut with Rossini's "La Cenerentola" Since then I performed on the most prestigious stages all over the World: Vienna State Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Paris Opera Garnier, La Scala in Milan, Berlin State Opera, Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro Real in Madrid, Washington National Opera, New National Opera in Tokyo and many many others. My specialty is romantic belcanto music and the composers like Rossini, Donizetti and Bellini are my best pals. Along with the opera I enjoy performing the recitals with belcanto chamber music. I believe that the genre of vocal chamber music is still an undiscovered place with lots of hidden treasures.
