Sound Traveller

Sound Traveller is a genre-spanning music project created by German composer and producer Peter Ries. It moves through music like a comet through the night sky — glowing, fluid, and never bound to a single orbit. Each piece is part of a journey through a colorful sonic universe. Sometimes delicate violin and cello lines carry the melody, sometimes sacred choral textures open vast spaces of sound. In other moments, everything fades into the warmth of a single, heavenly voice. Sound Traveller does not belong to one instrumentation or one musical color. Every composition explores new shades of sound and emotion — always with the same intention: to reach the heart and leave a feeling of warmth, calm, and wonder. Close your eyes and follow the sound.
