Didda Joe

Born in Indianapolis, IN, Didda Joe is ushering in a new wave of R&B with his nostalgic, edgy, driving, yet soulfully smooth sound very reminiscent to likes of Prince, D’Angelo, Musiq Soulchild, mixed in with a little Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer, Nirvana, and more substances long lost in modern R&B music. Didda is a Singer, songwriter, Producer, Multi instrumentalist, and more! From recording and making his own music top to bottom, to even directing and filming his own visuals, this young crooner is setting new bars in independent music and he’s not making an easy one for others to reach! 
 Growing up on the far east side of Indianapolis, Didda was never not surrounded by music, being raised by a mother who’s a choir director in church, and a Father who’s a Bass player. Didda found his love for music at the young age of 3, and continued growing in his talents throughout his life, picking up Piano, Bass, Drums, eventually finding his main true love, Guitar! All in the meanwhile growing his talent as a producer eventually teaching himself to Sing, after being heard by a friend who influenced him to pursue his voice! Working with the likes of Master P, Shafiq Husayn , Ro James , Columbus Short (Scandal, Stomp the Yard), and others, Didda has been making his mark wherever he can, and his music is the epitome of his sound which embellishes Rhythm and Blues but doesn’t elude from other genres such as Rock, Alternative, funk, trap, and others!
