Multi-award winning Yolŋu superstar Baker Boy releases DJANDJAY Deluxe, the expanded 17-track edition of his acclaimed album DJANDJAY, featuring two previously unreleased songs, ‘YOLŊU FEVER’ and ‘DISAPPEAR’ ft. BVT. DJANDJAY (Deluxe) was far from an afterthought for Baker Boy. It represents the final chapter of an album that continued to evolve once it left the studio and entered the live space. Following the acclaim of his 5 x ARIA Award-winning debut album Gela, including Album Of The Year, ‘DJANDJAY’ is Baker Boy’s most emotionally layered and creatively evolved work yet. Named in honour of his late grandmother, ‘DJANDJAY’ also pays homage to the Yolŋu spiritual figure of the same name: a guiding octopus spirit that leads souls forward. The album debuted #3 on the Australian ARIA Album Chart, #1 ARIA Australian Hip Hop/R&B Albums, took out 3 x NIMA Awards including Album of The Year and was nominated for triple j's Album of the Year. Off the back of the album’s success, Baker Boy was crowned GQ Musician of the Year at the 2025 GQ Men of the Year Awards and performed at the 2025 AFL Grand Final with Snoop Dogg.
