Mattia Serrentino

I’m Mattia Serrentino – an Italian composer and pianist, deeply inspired by nature, visual art, and the quiet moments of everyday life. I’m self-taught on piano and guitar, and over the years I’ve turned music into a personal way to explore emotion, memory, and imagination. Most of my pieces are piano-driven and cinematic, shaped by a love for storytelling and a desire to create soundscapes that feel both intimate and expansive. I often compose by the sea or in peaceful corners of Sicily, where silence becomes part of the music. Music is not just what I do – it’s how I breathe, how I reflect, how I connect. I like to think of each composition as a little journey: sometimes it’s nostalgic, sometimes it’s dreamlike, but it always carries a real piece of my life.
