Bellowing harmonies come to play under tenor melodies in what sounds like new age rap. But don’t be fooled by his grunge, somewhat punk approach because the self-producing MC can belt, sustain and finesse notes quite well. Much disappointed by the hip-hop scene and unwillingness of some creatives in his hometown of Port-Harcourt, he began experimenting with vocalizing over his own instrumentals. The sonics know no limit as Igoraqi is constantly evolving and honing his production, ever since laying his hands on FL Studio during the 2020 lockdown. Inspired mostly by the Southern and Eastern United States music scene through the internet, as early as 2016 while still in secondary school, and motivated to create by all aspects of life around him, is how Igoraqi would describe his musical influence in short.
