Fargo

A rising South Asian artist from Chicago, Fargo first emerged as a hip-hop producer, releasing two full-length lo-fi beat tapes (Injury Prone & Escapes from Reality) as well as Lazy Dayz — another lo-fi EP made in collaboration with Nougat and his most successful project to date. After taking a three-year absence to hone his skills, Fargo returned in late 2025 with the release of his debut rap album. Immediately drawing attention for its polish and maturity, NOVA stunned listeners and peers alike with its sharp lyricism and cinematic production, marking Fargo’s transformation from promising underground producer to fully realized artist. With an ear for detail and a commitment to authenticity, Fargo aims to continue growing while solidifying himself as a new and distinctive artist in Chicago’s underground.
