Hey, I’m Ajay Kesbhat — a 22 year old Marathi electronic music artist from Maharashtra. I grew up surrounded by the folk sounds, language, and energy of my culture, and somewhere along the way, I decided I wanted to take all of that… and mix it with the limitless world of electronic music. I love building songs that make people dance, smile, and feel connected, even if they’ve never heard a single word of Marathi before. I’m putting my first step into this vision with my debut Marathi electronic album, featuring some incredibly talented artists — and it’s coming very soon. This album is more than just music for me, it’s the beginning of a movement. My dream is simple but huge: I want Marathi electronic music to be heard, loved, and played everywhere — from street corners in my hometown to the biggest festival stages across the world. I believe our language and sound have something powerful to say, and I’m here to make sure it’s heard loud and clear.
