John Moon

Swedish indie rock artist John Moon carries the genuine, unique energy of heartland rock, the timeless drive of classic rock, and a gift for memorable melodies. Perfect for late-night rock playlists, melodic road-trip mixes, and for fans of artists like Det Vackra Livet and Björns vänner, his songs invite listeners into a journey of freedom, loss, and self-discovery. John crafts songs with personal, reflective lyrics and timeless rock textures. His melodic, heartfelt vocals rise over energetic guitars, strong drums, and a down-to-earth sound that feels both classic and modern. The result is music that’s highly infectious yet deeply relatable, drawing you in with movement while landing with emotional clarity. From hard rock beginnings to a more melodic approach, John’s style has become more versatile and expressive. His music captures both his deep passion and his inner self—alive, hopeful, and deeply human—offering comfort and connection without losing its spark—reflective without being static, guided by an explorer’s sense of forward motion. With four EPs to date and a new single on the horizon with Rexius Records, John Moon continues to carve his own lane in Swedish indie rock. Based in Karlstad with roots in Hammarö, he pairs authenticity and warmth with melody-oriented songwriting and an electric sound—built for listeners who want emotion and energy in equal measure.
