SWEATA is R&B’s newest teddy bear. A modern artist in every sense…a Singer, Songwriter, and Producer from New York whose music lives between warmth and depth. Discovered by legendary producer 9th Wonder, SWEATA blends lush soul textures with modern R&B storytelling, creating songs that feel intimate, cinematic, and relatable. His signature tag, “Sorry to Bother You, Honey,” marks every track with his unmistakable presence. When he’s not writing and producing alongside legends like Ciara, Ne-Yo, and John Legend, SWEATA is shaping the next wave of R&B. His breakout as an artist came with a feature on Yebba’s Waterfall (I Adore You) , later sampled on the outro of Drake multi-platinum, No. 1 album For All The Dogs . From there came debut single, 8PM (By Your Side), and the viral freestyle R&B Dreams …a moment that earned co-signs from Snoh Aalegra, Kehlani, Sasha Keable & more of the dubbed “R&B Queens” Now signed to USHER and L.A. Reid’s new label, mega, SWEATA represents a modern take on the artist-writer, reminiscent of Babyface or The-Dream. Whether it’s his own single One Life making its rounds, crafting JayDon’s breakout single I'll Be Good, which samples How Do I Say and earned praise from Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, or contributing to Smif N Wessun’s latest album with his track Namaste, SWEATA channels emotion, craftsmanship, and reality into every note. - (CHART)ER SCHOOL
