AYON

From the beachy shores of Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, Ayanda Mfeka, affectionately known as AYON is the product of a female led household. Primarily raised by her mother and grandmother, her patriarchal influences rooted in the teachings of her late grandfather who was instrumental in her upbringing before his untimely passing, gifted her the spiritual affinity and passion to become an animated, conscious, and multidimensional rapper, singer and songwriter who blends the anthropology of old school western hip-hop, traditional elements of Africanacity into a hybrid of creatively fluid schools of sounds and thoughts.
