Marina Rose

Born and raised in Nottingham, Marina Rose is a singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist with a love for blending Neo-Soul, R&B, Jazz and Hip-Hop. Her music is rooted in storytelling, exploring life’s ups and downs with honesty and curiosity. Previous releases have been featured on BBC Radio Nottingham, Leicester and Derby. Marina grew up in a British-Greek household, and the haunting melodies of traditional Greek folk music often find their way into her harmonies. With influences ranging from A Tribe Called Quest and Roy Hargrove to Erykah Badu, Amy Winehouse, Cleo Sol and Frank Ocean, she draws on a wide range of sounds to shape her own style. Marina has collaborated with psychedelic funk/soul artist Devansh and genre blending nu-jazz producer Skyline Sun.
