Alisha Pillay

Alisha Pillay is a singer/songwriter from Vancouver, BC. She first gained national recognition as the winner of David Foster’s Opportunity of a Lifetime singing competition. Her debut single, “Convicted,” became a Top 40 hit on the Canadian Billboard chart and earned her the CHUM Emerging Artist Award. Her singles “Mayday” and “Tattoo” gained traction across European territories, while collaborations with DJs including Dannic, DJ Antoine, and Thomas Gold expanded her presence in the international dance music scene. As a songwriter, she has written for artists and bands, as well as film and television. Her notable songwriting credits include Taiwanese pop group S.H.E. and Seungri of K-pop group BIGBANG.
