Lie Society’s music draws from the darkest and deepest depths of the Techno genre, ranging from Industrial influences to its most melodic sounds, creating a hypnotic, evolving, and evocative journey. Each track takes the listener on a journey while telling a story. Lie Society’s influences draw from a diverse and varied sound palette ranging from the Industrial and Noise influences heard in the music of Throbbing Gristle, Boyd Rice, Cabaret Voltaire and Genesis P-Orridge to synth infused bands like Depeche Mode and New Order. Darker and more underground sub-genres have played a part in the shaping of Lie Society's sound including the Dark Wave, Vapor Wave and Witch House movements including groups such as Cold Cave, Boy Harsher, and Pictureplane. Lie Society is signed to multiple labels and has charted numerous times on the Beatport Hard Techno and Peak Time Techno new release charts.
