STRANGER

Bred and shaped in Lagos, Nigeria, David Okun (professionally known as STRANGER) is carving out his own unique space, not merely as a producer, but as an artist. Forget boxes—his sound is as diverse as it is audacious, drawing whispers from Jon Bellion, echoes from Labrinth, and the raw, emotional power of Tay Iwar, Tems, and Asa. His debut offers an initial glimpse into a soundscape that's steadily taking shape. He weaves stories through rawly emotive Afro-fusion, a style that effortlessly treats genres like suggestions and sparks deeper thought. Within each track lies an unfolding map, a sonic expedition that invites you to forge a deep, personal bond as you uncover your own narrative within the boundless territories of his rhythms & melodies. His goal is simple: literally just try to live well and create music that he'd add to his playlist. More than just songs, they are experiences! He hopes you find them the same way he does, x.
