Cook & Stans

Two friends producing unusual, dreamy, clean and chilling progressive music with classical melodies and a unique sound. Their concept albums take you on a soundtrack-like journey to another place. C&S compose songs that are pleasant to the ears, relaxed and beautiful soundscapes. The music is great for traveling(especially through big cities), afterhours, relaxing, background, meditation, enjoying... C & S focus both on keeping the songs interesting over time, and on creating a beautiful theme. Both friends studied at university. This leads to the habit of a very scientific approach to music. One of their favorite topics has been of course music since 2010. Cook & Stans talk alot about how to improve sound wise, or how to keep their ears clean. The both also discuss composing-techniques from classic, to jazz, or contemporary music. About the friends: When with their girlfriends, you can often find them with headphones in front of their PCs. Outside the house, while on the way, they listen to their tunes for issues to fix. There are rumors that even at work C & S think about how to improve. The goal is to develop the sound futher and to change the production-habits with the years to always give a fresh piece of music to their listeners. They have created a pleasant compilation which has been sorted thoughtfully. It is a mix of their own songs and their favorite songs from other artists Here is the link to this Playlist: Deep Chilled Progressive Techno & Melodic House
