Travis Finlay

Travis Finlay is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer known for blending R&B, pop, gospel, and Caribbean influences into a sound that’s uniquely his own. Born in Miramar, Florida, and raised on Long Island, New York, Travis began singing before he could walk and was performing publicly by the age of three. At just nine years old, he released his debut album, Jesus = Love (2003), followed by several acclaimed gospel projects. Travis gained national attention after earning three Golden Tickets to Hollywood on American Idol Season 14 (FOX). He returned for Season 18 (ABC) in 2020, advancing to the Showcase Round in Hawaii. That same year, he released his sixth studio album, Phase II, followed by The Elements EP. As a songwriter, Travis co-wrote the Billboard #1 Gospel Airplay hit “Speak,” recorded by Angel Taylor of Trin-i-tee 5:7. In 2026, he was recognized by BMI at the BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards for the song’s success. He has also earned two Top 5 UK Music Week singles with “Losing Control (StoneBridge Remix)” and “Move Your Body” with Kim Sozzi. With a career spanning recording, songwriting, and live performance, Travis continues to establish himself as a dynamic multi-genre artist whose work bridges the worlds of R&B, pop, gospel, and Caribbean music with authenticity and versatility.
