Human Element

Human Element is the project of Martin Knecht, born in Switzerland now living in Hungary. His journey into electronic music began in his early teenage years and after some years of dedicated practicing, he started to perform in clubs and parties around Switzerland. A longtime residency at zürichs legendary Labyrinth Club helped him to shape his instinct and intuition and made his agenda busy playing all over the country. He moved a step further to write and produce his own music and after a few releases as a solo artist, he formed the progressive project Earsugar in 2003 and later the label mikrokosmos records together with Nicola Capobianco, aka Liquid Soul. The busy tour schedule continued but this time on a global scale with performances at major festivals and parties all over the world. In 2009 martin decided to focus more on his solo work and since then he kept on shaping and exploring new frontiers in his creation as Human Element. In 2013 he joined the Iboga Records family where most of his productions get released including his album EVOLVING that came out in late 2017. His sound is a blend of progressive house, progressive trance and techno, best to describe as deep driving and hypnotic soundscapes
