MIRANI

MIRANI is a hip-hop artist from South Korea who first rose to fame in 2020 after appearing on the Korean hip-hop survival show Show Me The Money 9, where she made it to the Top 5. Her breakout song VVS (Feat. JUSTHIS) (Prod. GroovyRoom) topped Korean music charts for three consecutive weeks and surpassed 50 million views on YouTube. Following her success, MIRANI signed with AT AREA, a creative label founded by the producer duo GroovyRoom, and won Hip-Hop Track of the Year at the 2021 Korean Hip-Hop Awards. She later appeared on multiple Billboard charts, with Lambo! (feat. UNEDUCATED KID) peaking at No. 6 on the U.S. iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap chart and No. 12 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart. Billboard also recognized her as one of the most noteworthy emerging musicians in Korean hip-hop. In 2023, MIRANI released her first full-length album The Drift, which was acclaimed as one of the standout hip-hop albums of the year. Known for her unique flow, emotional storytelling, and boundary-pushing collaborations, she continues to define her own lane in Korea’s new wave of hip-hop.
