Clubz is a musical project created by Coco Santos and Orlando Fernández in Monterrey, Mexico. Since their debut in 2013, the duo has been at the forefront of Latin America’s alternative pop scene, standing out for their ability to blend nostalgic influences with a forward-thinking sound. Their early releases, including their debut album Texturas and the Épocas EP, positioned them as key figures in the region’s post-pop revival. Tracks like Celebrando, Popscuro, Palmeras, and África quickly became generational touchstones, resonating across borders with their unique mix of funk, new wave, and electronic music. Over the years, Clubz has cultivated a sonic identity that’s constantly evolving—moving seamlessly from R&B and soft disco to French Touch, jazz-infused rock, and experimental electronica—while remaining unmistakably theirs. Their latest album, Radio Kono, represents the most refined and expansive version of their vision to date: a retro-futuristic journey through rhythm, melody, and atmosphere, anchored by standout singles such as Cortes Modernos, Spléndido, and Radio Kono itself. With a strong visual identity, high-energy live shows, and a loyal international fanbase, Clubz continues to shape the sound of contemporary Latin pop—innovating without losing the essence of who they are.
