Balli Beats

Balli is a Norwegian-born DJ, music producer, dancer, model, and overall ‘kool guy’. He began his journey into music at a young age, creating mixtapes after school, and gradually started making his own beats to compliment his favourite tunes. He helped establish renowned bhangra team ‘Northern Bhangra’, and has been on the organising committee for ‘Turbandagen’ since its opening in 2009. Staying in touch with his Punjabi roots was a key influence on his music, and he is known for creating empowering Punjabi mixes as well as his own original ‘BalliBeats’. Growing up in Oslo, Norway , Balli was inspired by esteemed artists such as Don Martin and Karpe. At home he absorbed the brilliance of Punjabi music legends Chamkila, Manak, Bindrakhia, and Gurdas Mann. Last but not least, as a 90s kid he is heavily influenced by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and 50 cent. He is a versatile musician specialising in many music genres such as Bhangra, R&B, Bollywood, Hip-Hop and House. His musical abilities, combined with his cheeky personality and quirky fashion choices, are guaranteed to entertain any crowd and make your night unforgettable!
