Mush is a house and bassline producer/songwriter from Yorkshire, bringing raw, unapologetic energy straight out of the North. Known as The Charva King, he builds tracks around deep grooves, chunky basslines and sticky melodies, drawing inspiration from Silky, Bugzy Malone, YA and Jazzy while staying rooted in his own local sound. What started as a love for bass-heavy club music has turned into a simple aim: make tunes that hit hard on a system but still carry heart, humour and everyday northern grit. Mush isn’t chasing polish—he’s chasing feel. That might be a warped vocal, a rough-edged bass wobble or a drum pattern built for a 3 a.m. dancefloor and a 3 p.m. bus ride at the same time. With his debut album dropping on 7 August 2026, Mush is carving out his own lane in bassline, UKG and house—experimenting, collaborating and figuring it out in real time with the people who listen.
