Funky Notes

Swiss beatmaker Funky Notes has been on the instrumental map for a while now. After several years of crafting music in his homestudio, he started releasing his first music on Soundcloud and Bandcamp in 2012/2013. Funky Notes played many life-shows all over Europe since 2013 and opened/shared the stage with big names such as Apollo Brown , Suff Daddy , Onra , Meister Lampe , Mononome , Brenk Sinatra , just to name a few. After his well received single Never Knew he continued releasing instrumental albums and singles throughout the years on various labels. Continously working on his craft, Funky went on to release more self-composed music over the years, moving away (but still loving) from sample-based music. Over the years Funky Notes created music with the likes of Shuko , The BREED , Phlocalyst , Mononome, Moderator , Ruck P , Eu93ne , LESKY and many more. His roots though still remain in the Hip-Hop and urban genre and are undeniably audible throughout his catalogue.
