Marc Biala

Filipino American artist Marc Biala is a psychiatric specialist providing transgender care in Austin, Texas. Outside of his professional life, music is an important part of his life. As a songwriter, vocalist, and producer, Biala creates music rooted in alternative rock, pop rock, and experimental sounds. Drawn to dark art and the complexities of the human psyche, Biala explores the parts of ourselves that are often hidden, uncomfortable, or difficult to name. Grounded in personal experience, the work finds beauty in the darker parts of being human, in emotions and experiences that can feel deeply familiar, and gives them space to be seen, understood, and celebrated.
